So many things that I should be doing but couldn't decide on which, so figured I'd put some brownie points in the bank instead! You never know when you'll need an advance on your pay! Washed the wife's car.. lol

Luxurious car!!! It's not a shame to ride it yourself))) Amazing color especially for this model. I was sitting on the weekend quietly drinking beer and reading posts... And then I saw this color and this car, and now I’m thinking if I should not repaint my own in the same color, I’d add a couple more black stripes on the side. I lived quietly for myself and the black color of my car suited me))) So now I am looking for the paint of the desired color and motor trader service where to repaint the car.

2 days of catching up on mowing now that the rain has stopped!

We are in the period where more than one mowing is required per week.

In the past three weeks I've mowed my 1/2 acre 5 times, my shop's nearly 1/2 acre 3 times and my mom's 1/3 acre 4 times.

Ready for that **** to be over.

Haha, I have a bit more than 1 acre and right now I have to mow 2x a week, bitch is I am going on vacation tonight for a week, wonder what its going to look like when I come back, should be fun cutting then.

Only about 4 acres to mow here, plus of course parents place that is another 2 acres that I'll be mowing now that we are moving them into assisted care living. Nothing to it, piece of cake. I feel for you guys with all that work to do! :poke:

Hung this cool, smaller wall cabinet today. Nice patina, and fits perfect between the garage doors. I took this cabinet...

...put it here in this unused space...

Yep, I’ve always wanted one. Never got one. I thought I had a CV-18, Ford 302/outdrive years ago, but it got bought from under me before I got to the point of sale. They’re kinda hard to find in good shape nowadays.

Getting front room window replaced. It's the last one in the cabin to get done. They sent the wrong damn window though. It's supposed to be 20-41-20. not 27-27-27. Had to order the right one. Stuck this one in place temporarily and finished the outside. Left the inside to finish when the right window gets here.
I didn't mention it to the guys but one would think that Job One would be to check to make sure your installing the correct product as ordered. Geezzzz.

Hazy here as well.
Yep Ghost I guess it is traveling East also. Trouble is, it is being called Haze when in fact it is Smoke and it is as thick as butter. I have a whole house UV scrubber hooked up to my heating/AC system and have had it running continually since Friday last. It works as advertised so the inside of the house is very comfortable and all. Without it, I would be suffering more with my COPD and Chronic Bronchitis breathing issues. Hell when I have to open the outside door or the one going into the garage, it immediately hits me. Just glad I got it as I haven't seen anything like what is happening this year in all the years I have lived in the West...cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:

Went to the Vintiques of Yakima car show. ‘72 and earlier, and also has a swap meet. Picked this up for $180:

Has a built in light, but also had a bunch of parts in it like condensers, points, rotors, etc:

And the bottom had a few bearings, brakes, voltage regulators, etc:

Coolest was this tune up guide and the Mallory dual point rotor and points:

I worked today. Tue-Sat. (Having Mondays off does feel right.) 1 year 5 months and 21 days until targeted retirement. (But who's counting?)

Replaced the blades and belt on my JD mower. Mowed some grass.

7 days until we head out for a well deserved vacation. Have tried to go last year (most everything was shut down) and the year before that (got Covid just before we were scheduled to leave), so this time it better work out. Spent today picking up essentials and getting the trailer in "ready to camp" condition. If all goes well we will be off grid (at least no computer) for several days. I can already feel the stress level starting to come down.

Had surgery on my foot. PITA. Trying to rehab it and get back to work and working on the car.
