What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

Been running a dozer all weekend.. Friday too. When I pay for a rental you better believe I'm using every single minute of it.. 16 hours is a lot of dozing!

The new ones sure beat the old ones for comfort and operator ease... no sticks to pull but push buttons may cause a finger cramp!!
I did almost forget about using the pedals but those are pretty soft ..at least in a Deere.

always modifying tools for jobs
I modified my coworker's tools because he asked me to 'help', got job started & then left on vacation so I had to finish it. I put all the bits 'n pieces back in his tool box.
He hasn't brought the subject up...

I've been earnestly shopping for a new place to live with all my spare time. This is my first time back in weeks but I have some great leads!

Brought home a kitten from our new feral colony.

I've never seen this color on a cat before, not even on TV or the internet.

Coffee Bean is his name.

He's been adopted by some friends of my wife.

There are at least half a dozen others roughly the same age that are all super friendly and clean and would make great pets.

Unfortunately the only other kitten the same color is the least friendly one of the bunch.

Update-

Turns out bean is a smarty as well.

Took him to work to win friends and advocate for the others that need homes.

On the way back he started mildly screeching and scratching at the towel in his carrier.

While driving, I opened the cage, pulled the towel to the front, and put some newspaper in the back.

Bean then let out an eye burner squishy right on the paper.

I then left the cage open and he exited into the rear of the vehicle.

Pulled into a gas station, threw away the newspaper, drove off, and Bean went right back into the carrier.

Teamwork dodged us a bullet!

God has blessed me & my perseverance
has paid off.
BOUGHT a house!
OUT of state!
WITH water/acreage!

I have not had much 'leisure time' to spend on FBBO for some time.
The Charger transmission swap is progressing at a snail's pace.
I have been swamped at work & shopping for another place since last year's fire evacuation(s) and it has paid off.
Don't HAVE to move.
Don't HAVE to quit job.
But I can when I want to now.
Yeah, I'm stoked...

THANK YOU JESUS!!!

...until someone breaks their collar bone...

but I agree.

Damn lawn tractor.....ok its fixed... for some odd reason, and not suure how the rod for the brake got bent.. obviously ran over something.
So no forward or reverse... I thought i f up the trans.... the rod from the brake system was bent just enough to not let it engage.
Straighten the rod and bit of adjustment on the spring and off we go, just like new.

I am packing for the first trip to the new place.
The keys are in the mail, maybe get here today:).

Shot “Bad Clays” at Seven Springs with my son. He was 3 short of winning his class but was one of the best one day shoots we’ve been to. Great day!

Alright dadsbee you win ... I’m very jealous! You’ve got a nice collection! Hard work does pay off!

Been retired for a couple years now. Woke up at 4 am. (WTF) too early to get up, too late for a sleeping pill. LOL Laid down at 9 and slept hard till 11. Wal Mart run after noon. Cleaned off the drive and patio. 4:30 a couple friends came over for bourbon and single malt tasting. Now that's more like it.

Best batch ever, put a small habanero in it for some heat.
