I ran a 30 amp circuit out to the garage this morning.
Been there done that... It's Wonderful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I sold my business today and officially entered the world of retirement.
They are well built . Our 85 dodge chassis Vanguard has all of the fresh water lines inside, nothing freezes when we are using it in the winter. Can use the flush toilet if I put plumbing antifreeze in the holding tank.I dragged home a new to me camper the other day....had to use my trailer since I don't have any camper bars on my truck yet.

1979 Vanguard, 11' with shower, toilet, heater, stove, hot water etc...in pretty nice shape for it's age.
No more rising at 4 am? Bet the body clock wins. Congregations to the wonderful world of retirement. Days don't drag by.
What was the 'nasty fluid'?I hung out in the "Monty Hall" garage and packed up a /6 manifold I sold, tried to do some organization in there as well, while flushing the cooling system on the 300. Oh wait, and I was watching the world go by as I drained some nasty fluid from a large container!!
Did it pass? Gotta work on my 95 after all these years to make it pass.....What did you do today....other than work on your car!?
Finished working on Project Dakota. Bought this basket case last July and finally took it for Pa. inspection today.

There never was much advertising for the Dakota over the years. Even a dealership buddy said the same and yet they still sold well. My bud said that Dodge made more money on the full size trucks and didn't want the Dakota to 'hurt' it.....I miss the Dakota platform.
We've had about 10 in our family.
My mom and I still have ours.
The had a real winner and another market changer, despite almost trying to drive away sales in the final few years rather than regain the market they created.
When I started to build my shop, a dump truck driver wouldn't stop when I told him to and backed into a soft area. Lots of shovel work and floor dry got his dumb butt out of there. If it hadn't been for a friend working for the county letting a few drivers dump ditch diggings dump on my place, I would have....well.....let the driver sit.A lot of work today just to write a cheque for 5 grand in the end... but I did get a nice WWII history calendar! Next time I tell him to STOP, he probably won't back up another 7 feet! Thought we were going to have to call a heavy wrecker, moved him a foot with my truck and then dug to the axle on the 50HP Zetor three times, and on the last "rock" I got him out just as the chain broke..and a hour and a half in. MMMM 100LL........

Oh man...been down that road. Sorry you're having to put up with that kind of stuff.Sat with Mom all day in the nursing home. Like herding cats trying to get the staff to do their jobs. Mom fell and broke her wrist and fractured a hip. After surgery she transferred to the nursing home last Thursday. My family has to continually have someone there to ensure Mom gets the care she needs since the staff is overwhelmed with patients, 1 RN for 20 patients, and basic incompetence.
Have a Toro that was bought in the late 80's....still running good with the Tecumseh mota
Yo so speeecialI went to work again.
Think I'd 'bond' it with the trailer. Never did like having something like that on the back of my truck. Kinda have my eyes open for a small trailer that can be pulled with a 1st gen Dakota but I know I'll have to swap out rear end gears. Heck, the Dakotas need 3.90 gears without pulling anything!!I dragged home a new to me camper the other day....had to use my trailer since I don't have any camper bars on my truck yet.

At least you woke up!!! LOL. I was never one that could sleep till noon, but if I stay till one in the morning, my body just rolls forward an hour and the boss has nothing to say about me sleeping till six. It's weird and will take time, but today is the first day of the rest of your life, enjoy it. In a few hours I'm taking my car out for lunch, why, because I can!!! Again, congrats!!I woke up at 5:40 this morning. Honestly, I can't remember the last time I woke up that late!
You're more than welcome to come down here and help me work on Uncle Bill's Cuda.I’m sure that I will still rise early for a while. It seems a bit surreal right now knowing that I don’t have to be anywhere tomorrow or the next day or the next day…….
