What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

Tended to a sick cat.

Our oldest- 12 years and change- developed a cold last weekend.

He sounds like CRAP, and you can tell he is miserable.

Took him to the vet yesterday and got $200 worth of medication (ouch).

The last two that caught colds (both 10 years old, and one this guy's brother) died within 3 months.

Might be coincidence. Not taking chances.

Did you know that cat colds can last 30 days?

...and the coughing and sneezing, even from another room, sounds just like a sick human despite the size difference.

Had a prairie dog that the vet said had some mild congestion.....no meds for him though and he died the next morning. :(

I made a Generator Monitoring Panel this morning for the Main Panel in the house. I run the entire house on a portable 12K generator when needed. The panel gives me the generator stat's when in operation, and the green Power Available lamp on top lets me know when the normal utilities are back up again.

forgot to post finished ensuite, been back to work on the resort for couple weeks now getting the place opened for the season! Wifes happy with new bathroom. I've only used old jacuzzi about 5 times since 92 and won't miss it,but might miss the shower when the kids are all here filling the other bathrooms! only cost about $1500 to do the whole thing, got the tub and tap from a cancelled house project cheap!I went for a sled ride came home and all the tile wash smashed in the bathroom, think that was a hint to get busy!

Well, there I was......pulled over to the side of the road to enjoy my chicken & hash-brown wrap with sweet chili sauce and aioli, when I heard an all too familiar rumble to my right. I looked around in amazement, and saw a beautiful mid-blue (possibly B5) 1968 Plymouth GTX pulling out of a local timber yard. The familiar sound of the 440 and automatic made me smile.....so much so that some sweet chili sauce ran down my chin.

Oh and for the record, B5 in 1968 would be QQ1 :poke::D

I've been a caregiver for my dad
& I been head chauffeur him to multiple dr.s,
for a while now

it doesn't leave much daylight or energy
the days I need to be there for him

needless to say
nothing has been getting done on my car for a while :BangHead:

Doesn’t sound like fun.

Went to the first tractor pull of the season
The modified diesels
The hemis
Gotta love it
Horsepower, chrome, fuel and beer

I like a good tractor pull.

Used to go to them when they were mostly actual tractors and trucks in 2 and 4 wheel drive classes. Just one or two classes of "exotics".

Mr. Orange, the cat is doing much better today.

About 10 days in.

He's now not nearly as congested and has been up and come out to eat.

That will most likely take awhile to recover, glad it wasn’t worse.
