What is the strangest thing you have found in your car?

Back in Iowa(many many years ago.....), I came out of the house one morning to go to work and found a size 2 leopard print spagetti thong hanging on the interior rear view mirror of my 70 Charger......I started locking my doors after that....LOL!

In the back seat springs of an old FK5 '70 Charger, I found at least six different build sheets for different Chargers all stuck in one bunch up under the springs.

Found the obligitory bag-o-weed in an old '72 Barracuda under the seats....

Got ahold of a '68 RoadRunner one time....musta had every old copy of Hustler ever printed....

I found a nickel that was run over by a train, and a bowling alley scoring pencil that was stuck inside the fender.

back in late 80's out in the sticks of North Mo I spoted a 68 charger sitting next to a BARN beside an old farm house. stopped and looked it over, no one around, few days later on 6 o clock news the old couple that owned the farm were arrested for multiple murders, they had buried several farm workers in THAT barn. some sort of $$ scheme! true story.

in the trunk i found the previous owners death certificate

I found a Pizza Hutt fridge magnet, pens, coins and junk. Also I found a slip of paper with the original owners name and address on it. I decided to write them a letter and post it as most older people never move house. Lo and behold, this amazed woman mailed me back. She filled me in on lots of valuable information about when she owned the car in the 70's. About how her uncle Ned had backed his truck into the rear quarter. She also said that one of her old boyfriends had thrown a loaded shot gun onto the back seat. It blew a hole clean through the passenger side wheel well. I had never noticed anything there, but went to investigate. Sure enough, there was a patch up under neath. It had been well repaired because they had used some kind of under body sealer to cover it.
I also found this under the carpet. Obviously somebody on the assembly line had a sense of humor.

Last year I bought a 68 Barracuda and flew Charlotte and drove it about 8 hours home. When I cleaned it up for the first time I found an old joint under the rear floor mat. And later even found a half joint in the ash tray. So glad I did not get pulled over and searched on the way home.

Me too with a 68 Cuda. .....pulled the seat out and found about a 15" diameter mouse nest with several little skeletons! !!!!

I found some build sheets with instructions for stopping and starting the line and "last job", plus one for a car one model year older that said "do not build".

These were in addition to the correct build sheet for my Satellite and a build sheet for a different car with the same interior.

All dated with my birthday!

No one I've described these oddball sheets to, (including a former editor of a widely circulated Mopar mag) has ever seen or heard of anything like them.

I've posted them on this site before.

I found a token they give to people attending AA meetings. I didn't know what it was. Funny thing is my wife knew what it was right away, not sure how!

Years ago, I bought a '52 Plymouth Cranbrook, identical in nearly every way to my first car, which was also a '52. It had sat with three other cars in a pole barn for at least 25 years - the last tag on it was from 1977, and this was 2002. Straight as a pin, very little rust overall, and the engine was not locked up. My thought was to make this a neat little cruiser with the stock drivetrain.

Once I got it off the trailer, I washed the 25 years worth of dirt and crap off it. I was pleasantly surprised - the car looked a LOT better than I expected! Out comes the vacuum; but I decided to pull the seats completely out first. Under the rear cushion was a Bible, a couple of $20 bills, and a very old condom, still in the wrapper. That was a weird mix, to say the least! Of course, there was the usual assortment of mud-dauber wasp nests in the chassis, a mouse nest in the headliner (what a friggin' mess!) and one of those shrunken heads you used to get at Spencer's, in the glovebox.

My buddy found a case of little league baseballs from the 1960s unopened in the original boxes a couple of years ago in an old chevy he bought. I put it on Ebay for him and it sold for around $75.

When I was young and had wrecked my truck I financed a $250.00 car made payments for a few weeks. When I got it paid for and picked it up it stunk. a week or so later I found a tuperware container of bbq ribs under the seat. The car had been repoed in walmarts parking lot.I guess they didn't get to eat ribs thet night.

Jimmy Hoffa in the trunk.

I found a new pair of Top Cat Whiskers under the rear seat of my R/T. Sold them as my window felts were in good condition. My 1971 Demon 340 had acorns loaded in the hood and would roll down and fall out every time I pooped the hood. After a few years, most of them made their way out.
