My old truck, 98 dakota SLT started life silver did a full color change in 2010 sold it to a buddy last fall he is still running it!
And my current daily driver, 2014 1500 sport 5.7 8 speed.
Not mine, but I wonder if that is a surplus Army deuce chassis with a Dodge cab and box mounted on it? I can't think that would be too hard to fabricate.
Here is my 2012 Ram 3500, used mainly when moving old Mopars! 44k on the speedo.
The 1996 Sport was purchased new in Phoenix By my brother, a Maricopa County Deputy.
I bought this from him in 2012, and he passed away unexpectedly in 2013. I use it to haul smaller things, like 440 Engines!
My junk is rusting off of the frame due to our Michigan winters. I have owned it over 21 years now & it is still 90%+ all original. But it still tows, hauls & pulls all of my cars and toys along with everyone else's (mostly Chevy's) everywhere we need it to. It just keeps on going. I am about due for something newer though. Hopefully, within the next year or two. Just stupid expensive what a newer truck costs these days.
I don't think two is enough. For a while I had two of each. I have two Little Red Express trucks, and I had two 1996 Indy Ram trucks. I sold one of the Indy Rams at Carlisle two years ago. The one I sold had the racing mirrors, and ground effects, and the other one does not. They were two VIN numbers apart.
