I spent many hours working on the first 20 B-2's and the first 17 F-22 Raptor's. Even spent time on the JSF. Never got lucky enough to fly in any but I have flown in a P-51 Mustang, I knew a co-worker who owned one in Cal. I retired from Boeing a couple years ago after 28 years.

Jones beach airshow,this Memorial Day weekend, 90 degrees !! no breeze, storm front coming in. show canceled today (rain) hung around republic airport Saturday where the planes depart for the show over the beach. Estimated 180,000 people attended on Saturday another reason to stay away from the beach.

Mopower, Thanks for the shots of the Blue Angels, they have been coming too Seattle for many years doing their show at the Unlimited Hydroplane races in August. When I worked for Boeing in Defense and Space, we were across the street from the ramps they used.

I've seen it all from the truly amazing Envelope expansion, the F-22 in action to the Heart breaking loss of one of our Dear Friends and Superior Test Pilot "Cools"!

Congrats. too you, as I enjoyed that same feeling of retirement two years ago when I retired from Boeing after 28 years. The satisfaction makes it all worthwhile. Now on to other things! An awesome airplane, I probably worked on the Raptor you were sitting in.
