Be careful out there, Detroit is hurting for money and isn't exactly well-known for it's far sighted fiscal policies. I can just picture the city "leaders" slashing the throat of that golden egg laying goose by hammering out-of-towners for minor infractions (noise, burnouts, etc) in an attempt to raise revenue, or as politicians call it..."free money".

The "Cruise" (aka Crawl) isn't in Detroit. It's north of 8 Mile Road. The current police and fire chiefs both own classics, though, and have asked to meet with event organizers to see about getting them to bring it into the actual Motor City....

They wanted to move it to City Airport but a funny thing happened. A lot of business owners and many who complained about it thought that was a bad idea. Interesting.

I agree, move it into Detroit and nobody would go, and city airport area would be one of the worst choices.
