would you save her?

All I see is a good excuse for a back-half and alterktion front end :icon_blackeye:

But seriously that's a pretty depressing sight, does look like a victim of the "I'm gonna do a full restoration someday" disorder. Guess it depends on all the elements in the equation: time, money, knowledge, tetanus shots.

Or a complete full tube chassis, tinned & tubed race car... Maybe !!

I have to agree with Budnicks, you just can't save them all.

I wish I was there to see the look on the face of the new owner when she split in 2

I did post the picture on the graveyard cars facebook page and asked how much to save it :laughing1:

they said they would save it

depending on how bad the rest is, it can be saved. should it? be above my head, but there are guys on here than could do it in their sleep. Had a '67 Beleveder that sat in a field for years do that to e.

I smell a purist versus modified coming.....just don't "fix it up" and try selling a 10 point restoration car...modify it make it safe and with a healthy engine, when done working out the bugs you would have a nice track bruiser that you have fun with...better than letting sit some more and get crushed...but I guess why not right? lets all the 68-70 charger guys say that makes mine that much rarer! never hurts to try and bump up an already insanely priced car get even more insanely priced....if it fits your means then throw some weekends-welding-steel-miller high life at it and see what happens..it has only gotta make you happy. just no "General Lee" please ;)

Throw a for sale sign on it, and however gives you any money for it, run really fast after you get it.

I gotta name for your car, "Rusty".

A parts car is a parts car is a parts car. Could it be saved....... yes should it be........... :upside down: This is one of those money vs brains cars. :argue:

Yeah some people get way too emotionally attached to these cars, they buy or spend way more that they should, me included {sometimes}... I don't buy cars to sell or for resale value, I buy them because I love muscle cars & to drive & enjoy now... But sometimes you need to just suck it up & walk away & find something a little better to start with, don't let the little brain start thinking for ya' or making financial decisions, that would be a far more sound mentality/attitude to approach buying these type cars...

Hell yeah I'd save it, I agree it's a good excuse to go all out on the chassis.
