I just put in an Ignitor II. Stock coil, stock ballast resistor. Runs fine
Another dual point was in my car.
I had the OE number dual point for my 66 Hemi in a box with points missing. So I did the upgrade on that one.
Very simple install. I cleaned and re-lubed everything ... Before and after:
