1969 Road Runner facelift

Would they be the same on a 4 door?

I'll check it out and let you know if they are any good and if I get the parts car.

He says it's heavy cause it's got some kind of big strange engine with the plug wires going right into the valve covers.

Should weigh up for some good scrap money I guess.

I need 4dr's but i need really decent ones

Nobody bit the hook or flew the BS flag on my hemi bait.

That hurts my feeling....

OK guys, looking at the stance of my car out in the shop, I like the rear height, I think it's about right.

But the front is a bit high for me.

Can you unload the torsion bars a little to let it down in front or??

You can drop it a bit Dave by loosening up the adjusting bolts on the bottom side of your LCA's. It honestly doesn't drop that much and you're probably better off getting a shorter tire up front.

Been awhile for me Dave, im still paying attention though! continued Good luck..

Thanks, I see some have used A body spindles on the B bodies, not sure if that was for drop or not but I've found some nice 2" drops for a little over $400 a pair.

It's not high on my priority list but It's good to know I can do that in the future if I want to.

I run the magnumforce 2" drop spindles and they are VERY nice and high quality.

I'm pretty upset with all of you for not telling me about the locking wings on the windshield gasket.

That would have been very helpful info about a half a year ago lol!

Here's my color, hiding under the original gasket.

I took care of the rust holes in my rear window tray today, I had rust holes at each side of the back glass tray, after cutting the rusted areas out I had holes that looked like this.

After patching.

It's solid all the way around now and I plan on using a skim coat of metal 2 metal on both patches and in any minor pitting areas after some POR-15 and prior to prime/paint.

I also tackled some misc weld tasks I had unfinished, it was a good day out in the shop. Easy pace, loks of planning for the steps ahead of me.

I grabbed a pic of the fender tag too.

I'd like to get an outer rocker repair panel and a full hardware kit for my fresh air hood (rivets, fasteners, rubber boot)

What's my best bet for these parts?

Glad to see you rolling on the Tin Chicken again Dave :hello2:

I have about the forward 2/3 of a right AMD outer rocker. You can have it if you want it...Just collecting dust in my garage.

I need for the left, I suppose the profile is the same so if I was just using a patch it would work.

I sure appreciate the offer, I'll take a good look at it tonight and see how much length i need.
