Thanks for all the kind words guys, I might not have quite as much experience or funding as some of the big name shops I look up to, but I can say there are a few design changes I have planned for Frankenstein I think you guys are gonna like, or at least be entertained by me taking on some more fabrication projects beyond my comfort level. If all goes well I'll end up with some seriously cool custom touches, and if all goes south I'll still have my oem pieces waiting on the shelf lol! 2015 is gonna see some balls-to-the-wall work on the Charger for sure.
Some areas/things I have planned to modify as of now are:
-those Viper seats I ended up sealing the deal on and should be here Wednesday!
-integrated full cage
-dash, specifically a carbon fiber one-off instrument cluster loaded with Autometers to accommodate adding boost and wideband air/fuel
-still kicking around my options for a center console
-custom door panels/cnc milled interior handles
-package tray
-rear valance with integrated exhaust tips
-core support to grille assembly shroud
-BOOST! Procharger P1SC mounted on cnc milled brackets I'll be cooking up with my dad here in the machine shop, as well as the engine mods that are going to happen before boost
-Depending on budget/feasibility, junkyard sourced full sequential fuel injection as already done over on DC.com, hopefully the pioneer over there is willing to help me along lol
-Also depending on budget, Viper T56 following in goon and 747's footsteps.
Got a big year planned and some pretty fun projects, and I'm happy to report the Chebbie is damn close to being driveable. The laundry list is shrinking fast with alignment and exhaust planned for late this week. Engine accessories are flying off the shelf back into place, steering collumn is all hooked up to the MOPAR quick ratio box (3 turns lock to lock at the wheel, stoked to throw this thing through some corners!), steering links and 1 1/4" front swaybar in place, brakes are all installed (right side up, I swear) and ready for bleeding, core support stripped and painted ready to go back on, etc etc. Pretty soon I'll be back killing tires and recharged/relaxed enough to be patient and take my time finishing up the Charger to its full potential
Hope everyone had a good New Years!

Nice find on those seats!! and Merry Christmas to you brother!! That toolbox was a great gift idea from your dad!
I'm waiting till the seats are in the charger before I tell him they don't look good and he should send me the whole car!!
Haha thanks man! And if for some reason I don't like the seats I'll trade ya for a 6 speed lol!
Nice Santa, Beautiful seats! cool Speedy but wouldn't expect less from you!
Thanks Ron! Yeah I wasn't really sold on them at first with the $1,100 X2 Builders price tag but when I saw these ones in all black for the $400 I had to jump on it haha. Funny thing is they originally came from X2 Builders anyway! It pays to buy secondhand sometimes I guess lol
Hey Speedy . . . no matter how much tool storage you have, you still have tools laying all over the place ! ! Argh ! ! !
( and you tend to fill up all the space too - which is a good thing ! )
Nice looking seats . . . got mine from a 2014 Challenger that was vandalized, will need to be recovered . . . but those are SWEET ! ! !

LMAO . . . I guess it did start on my thread . . . forgot all about that as it's been a GOON saying for so long ! ! ! ( SMILE ) . . . Goon approved . . .
LOL yeah I hear ya Kahn, I've been fighting the habit of not leaving stuff laying around but so far so good! And those Challenger seats will look slick in the Kahnvertible! I'd love to grab some parts off a new SRT8 or Hellcat (like every one of us probably haha), but hoping I'm not done adapting Viper parts just yet :thinker:
very nice speedy, but i dont think those seats will look good in your charger so i will just send you my address to ship them to me. lmao. pm me your address im am gonna try an get those fer racin stickers cut out for you guys. once again looking good speedy. an a merry x-mas to you. usarr
Lol! Gotta say they'd look pretty epic in the Roadrunner! Might have to keep an eye out for another pair for ya, the other option I liked was the Recaro that comes in Mitsubishi EVO's, a friend of mine works at a shop about 50 yards from mine parting out subarus and evos and said he'd hook me up with a pair for the Chebbie. And no way that'd be awesome! I'll send ya a pm and thanks!! Can never have enough of those things :icon_thumleft:
I found a home for it too, I'm putting it under the hood right in front of the shaker scoop hole. Only problem is because of all of the welding on the hood it just barely rubbed the cowl (in the pinch weld area) and now needs some paint so it will have to wait. I chuckle every time I look at it and can't wait to feel the added power gains from installing it.

Sweet seats Speedy!
That's gonna be perfect placement for the sticker Dev, might even double the power gain lol
Those seats will look good in your car. I don't think you need a tool cabinet to feel professional, the work you've done so far makes me think you are a pro already.
Thanks rrman!

Been looking a that bottle up on the shelf a lot lately. Kinda like sneaking peeks at a hottie at the pool. Hydrgoon
