72 Satellite Gen III Hemi Restomod

So the permatex seems to have been somewhat successful. Not sure how it will hold up long term, but OK for now. I reassembled everything. Knowing it might have to come back apart, I just used hot glue and a zip tie. If it works long term, then I guess that's the permanent solution.

I still hear the hiss of a vacuum leak, but honestly I'm not sure how much of that is normal. All the dampers are moving like they should and the switch is stopping in the right spots. One thing that I've noticed is that the vent setting blows super strong through the vents, but on heat, I can barely feel it. I've got a triangular section in the heater box that has hot air blowing out while on heat, but not vent. Is this normal? Seems odd since the adjustable vent in the box is right next to it.

The vent on the driver side has some air coming out on heat, but not as much. If this is by design, then it makes a lot of sense why the dash vents seem so much weaker.

I put a little Christmas money to use and bought a cheap set of exhaust tips since I cut the turn downs off. They'll do fine.

Another issue I'm having is what I thought was a rubbing sound on the right rear when making hard left turns. I flexed the suspension all the way and did some checking and it's not rubbing the tires or the brakes. I think I might be hearing the diff, but it does seem to come from the wheel side not the center. Hard turns left primarily, but if I push it really hard right I can hear it to. Doesn't matter if I'm off or on the brake or throttle. For reference I've got an 8-3/4 stock width with wildwood discs, Moser axles specifically for them and a Dr. Diff tru-trac in the rear. I know some limited slips will chatter on turns, but the one I have doesn't have a clutch in it and even if it did, it's pretty loud. Any ideas?

Without hearing it, it is hard to say but I would start with the axle bearings and make sure one is not failing. Then you need to move on to the carrier bearings.
