Anyone ever try to wrap a glass bumper to make it chrome?

I've read some threads on chrome paint process too, frankly it's exactly the same story, some people say garbage, others say follow the process and prep and it's pretty good.

Steel bumpers really aren't that heavy. My stock front bumper is 23lbs, rear 25lbs. However all the brackets front and rear weigh less than 3 lbs total.

Here is a "cosmic chrome" painted bumper. Looks great from 12" there is some orang peel. Hang on when you get pricing for the cosmic chrome process.
