My guess is an SUV, something a bit narrower than the GTX given how the quarters seem less squashed in then the trunk area.Something with a high front bumper for sure.
Probably a Mustang
Just the Air Cleaner Pie Pan......How soon before someone says "hey, I'll buy the motor"![]()

Very few 68's got head rests.... This demonstrates why I added them to mine...My guess is an SUV, something a bit narrower than the GTX given how the quarters seem less squashed in then the trunk area.
Texting Tracy on the way to pick up her kids is my theory.
I hope the occupants recover fully. If the GTX had no headrests their necks would likely have broke from that amount of force.
I do get nervous about driving my cars around given the number of wreckless and careless idiots I am forced to share the road with.
Thank god there wasn't... Or the folks that were in that GTX wouldn't have a chance....That area of 80/50 is more flucked up than San Jose. Can’t believe there was no fire.
Something very similar happened to me one morning when I was an apprentice. The woman in the car next to me looked across....we knew one of us was going to get hit. Lucky it wasn't my '69 Charger.Hard to get away from this stuff, about 10 years ago in my gtx, stopped at a light in my rear view mirror saw a car comming fast, he locked the brakes and quickly went into the right lane, nailed the car right next to me.
Both looked totaled....
I pulled over everyone seemed to be ok, cops came and I went on my way..... could have been me!
