Better jump quick - Craigslist ad :

maybe it comes with $40,000 in the glove box

And just like all these methheads, they can't afford 50 bucks for a decent camera, either.

Way to rich for me. engine pics is a bit blurry.. :)

I was thinking "Nice car"(not 50Grrr nice,though...) until I saw the engine compartment. C'mon man;a little presentation preparation would help in the selling, don't ya think? Might want to buff the paint while you're at it...

Not a 50K car for sure, Maybe 8K. Guy is buzzed on something at that price. God, What would the guy ask if the car was totally restored?

I just hope for his sake he's in no hurry to sell.
Maybe if it wasn't green! JK!

Is that a tape player on the floor? Maybe that's why it's $50k........lol

tempted to call him just for kicks and ask a few questions - probably would be an interesting conversation .......

His wife probably told him to sell it. He just said "yes dear" and then put in that realistic price.

71 Charger SE 383 Auto Column Shift & cloth bench seat

Nice car, but maybe $7,500-$10,000 car at best :argue: , factory optional Moon Roof & 8 track tape player are kind of rare, but he's reaching for the stars...

I looked at this car just a couple of weeks ago. It is what is claimed to be but he is in the wrong ballpark on his pricing. I think it would be a great car for around 10-12K. The color combo kills it, but it is really a cool car!

I agree with this assesment.

It's a 383 car (can we confirm HP?) and has a rare sun/moon roof and rare cassette recorder (don't think it's 8 track)

If it's rust free, then I say 10-12 is about right. Maybe more if it's original paint. ...and yes, the green stigma strikes again.

Is that a big crease on the quarter, or is it bad lighting/reflection.

It really appears to be 100% original paint. Lot's of nicks and scratches. Don't recall a crease. Looked to me like the only things that have been changed were the tires, battery and the exhaust IIRC. I lost interest really fast when he told me what he wanted for the car!!!!
I was on the phone with a collector of sunroof 71 Mopars while I was looking at it. IIRC the guy has owned it for 25 years.
