Finally Started My Restoration of my 68 GTX

sorry for your loss. Be a great tribute to your Dad to finish the car. I've become fond of primer grey myself. sure alot cheaper than paint.

Josh, So sorry to read of the loss of your father. He was clearly very proud of you. There can be no better tribute to your Dad than to finish his project. Good luck, and I'll be checking in for updates.

Sorry to hear about your loss, I'm sure you cruising in the GTX will put a smile on his face. Good luck

sorry for your loss ,keep that head up and make your dad proud :icon_thumright:

Josh,

I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. His car was important to him, but in his earlier posts you can clearly see how proud he was of you. So first and foremost, please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your Dad.

I think finishing the car for him, in his honor and his memory, is a fantastic thing. I believe there is no other person than you he would want to have that car, and know he will be right beside you when you are working on it and eventually in the driver's seat.

Please let us know what you need from a knowledge, parts and advice standpoint, and we will be glad to help out. I have a 1970 Road Runner, so many parts and elements are very similar. You will find that assembling the car can be a challenge, and I will be glad to share the many pictures I took of my car's disassembly. Of course, I will be glad to help with whatever else I can as well.

Rock on Josh!

So sorry for your loss Josh - my heartfelt condolences go to you and the whole family . . . will be watching and following along as you complete your dad's dream.

That will make the car a fantastic tribute ! ! Keep your head high and tackle the jobs one at a time - can't wait to see it completed and driving !

Sincere condolences to you and your family. I like what Hsorman said, there are good people here, people you never met, faces you never seen, ready to help as you continue along on the car. But the best help you'll have, is your Dad's spirit who will always be there with you.

Sorry to hear about losing your dad. Cherish the memory and times you had together, it sounds like he was a great person and father. Prayers to you, your sister and the rest of the family. Good luck with the progress on the GTX.

Terrible news Josh, my condolences. That car will be a fitting tribute. Good luck.

My condolences Josh. I enjoyed your Dad's passion for the car.

Thanks carrying on with his project and sharing with us

Josh, you have my condolences and prayers for the whole family.

It's always extra nice to see family projects, and I'm glad to see that you'll be continuing the build for your dad.

Take care...

Josh,

I know what it's like to pick up a torch of someone's life and take it on as your own to do right by them. Put in the time, put in the work, your dad will be there guiding you through this and riding along when you get there.

What you're doing is important.... remember that
