Pretty good for a poly. I wonder if there`s any faster ones out there?

That quite a bit better than LVD, but Atco always is.
60 ft still a little sluggish. Do you have pulleys and race gas to step it up or are you satisfied with what you got?

Yes the Belvedere is now a 67 Coronet. I'm surprised you didn't know.

I think the 3000 stall vert keeps the 60 sluggish, but it's great for street driving. It will pick up as I turn the power up. I have a small selection of pullies.:icon_thumright:

I'm finishing the build on my 64. It should be capable of running in the 7's in the quarter. I decided not to put a 25.x cage in the car. The fastest legally it can go is 8.50's. It's a gen3 aluminum 426 with a pair of twin 67mm turbo's. I am building it to do drag week and power tour.

mines not near as impressive as most of you guys. I bought this car one year out of high school and have owned it for thirty plus years. the best i have been is 11.28 @ 120 miles per hour. I slow it down to 11.50 to run in n/ss. it has a thirty over 440, stock otb evilbrock 82 cc rpm heads and a stx 21 racer brown flat tappet cam. it weighs 3608 pounds car and driver, split mono's with cal-tracs. oh and it has a rollbar. I raced the car three weeks ago for the last time out this year going low seven twenty's in the eight mile. the engine is has over 500 passes on it and several thousand street miles. the only thing I have done to it is one set of rod bearings and normal maintance. I would like to build a new reliable low maintance engine over the winter that I could still drive around and put the car in the ten fifty range.10676129_10203969772420157_663993885774402774_n.jpgView attachment 292265

There is nothing wrong at all with an 11.20 street car that has no power adders. Many like me and maybe you are not rich and dont have alot of money to throw at our hobby or have the money to pay someone else to build our cars. So we make the best of what we have and enjoy the heck out of our cars. Nothing wrong with an 11.20 street car as you can be proud of it and its a cool 65 Mopar ! Ron

Need some pic's of that 64!! Sound like you will need to upgrade the bar later down the road. I don't plan on going faster than 8.5,s so my cage will be fine.

Nope. That a 13.5 x 30. More than enough tire. I could go 8.5 on a 275

1966 Belvedere II, California registered and insured. Ran 10.70 through the mufflers last year prior to taking out the motor. Just got new motor back last week, times should be better (We will see).IMG_1833.jpgIMG_1879.jpgIMG_2486.jpgIMG_2490.jpg
