Happy to share. I'm stoked. Other than an understandable suggestion from a guy with a good clutch leg that such a device is only for "winning money in bracket racing" which other than heads up grudge or "pick up" racing, with or without any kind of "negotiations" (get the hit, a half a car out, etc) bracket racing is ALL that I'd do, It's one less variable.
I expect that most of my 1320 trips will be test and tune runs or lining up against people I know or maybe some pick up races at the track. If I do manage to find consistency though, it would be a real accomplishment making it to or near the top of a bracket night with a manual transmission.

New question, I found a used pair of 26" slicks for sale here locally. Do they last about 6 years before they get hard and slippery like a street tire? Any reason not to buy a used pair of slicks? These are 26x11.5-15. I am putting them on a 15x8.5" wheel. Any problems with that?

Still puppy’s, use them. Only worth maybe 1/4 to new price. HP determines how “new” the tire has to be.

Those slicks will also help with the horrible gear ratio of 3.23's with a 29.4 inch tire….

It's near impossible to find a used pair of 235/60-15 tires. Used to be a common size but not any more. Something else, I was at the LLanta (tire in Mexican) store this week getting some second hand wheels swapped on to my trailer, That place was busy. There is a market for used tires, I never realized. When I asked for that size he said let me check, they just got a shipment of tires in. Really? Where did the shipment of used tires come from?

Going overseas, big big auto salvage place in the area and they got a honey of a deal to sell ALL the tires off the wrecks they get in! The 7 year tire life thing brought this about.
