Id buy up every General Lee Charger I could find & put them in gray primer. Then re-paint them 1 at a time until I ran out of cash

It depends on where I was going. On a long road trip I would have a 1966 with a stock look except for the NASCAR spoiler and 15x8 and 15x7 magnum wheels. Power would be a 5.7 hemi. Paint would be red. White interior. Power everything. Monster sound system. Air conditioning. Tinted windows. Overdrive transmission. Cruise control. GPS. Something I could drive cross county. I already have a 1966 Hemi Coronet Convertible with 4.30 gears so I don’t need another street brawler.

I would keep my '70 R/T SE and do everything to it that it needs. Then I would go after a '68 and a '69. I know the question was about Chargers but I might also go after a '69 Roadrunner

Mine would be a hybrid. 68 car with 69 grille & tail lights, and 70 RT door louvers. Or a 70 with 69 grille.

If I had $250 K to spend I would finish the two that I have
My 69 will be a F6 Daytona clone
The 70 will be 440 6 pack 4 speed in FJ5
Then see if I could find a 68 big block Charger with an original motor in any colour
I would also have to build a 3 bay garage to keep the toys in instead of parking in the hay shed

I was able to pick up my 69 RT last August: B5 blue black vinyl top bumblebee striped delete, rare window defogger ,rare Speaker ,six way adjustable buckets 440 automatic on the floor with counsel, power windows power front desk breaks with the four piston calipers and cruise Control. It’s all original down to brake pads and exhaust been sitting since 82 and only has 50,000 miles on it. It has the usual rust spots but as I fix it that is what will make it my car.
Nice find,good luck with the new project, it will be a sweet ride when it is done!

71 Superbee with pretty much anything from a 340 to a Hemi, Black with a black top and FK5 Burnt orange interior, with black stripes, N96 hood, hide away headlights with headlight washer system, OR elastomeric bumpers (if they could be had in Black), buckets, console with an auto or no console with a 4spd, AM/FM with console or floor mounted cassette recorder, houndstooth seat inserts in orange, power sunroof, power windows, 6 way adjustable seat, front and rear spoilers, rear louvers, shot gun tips, but sporting steelies with dog dish caps.
Member Moparsaver's 71 R/T gives me tingles in my happy places...
don't you have a shop to finish?
