its pretty dirty on the glass side cause i didnt want to put any more chemicals on it while the glue is curing

Car looks fantastic ,, nice work !!

I bought the classic industries electric headlight conversion because the charger specialties version is a 2 month wait.....we shall see how it goes

All the glass is in (except the windshield), ordered my front wheels and tires from coker today and begin assembly on the dash next week

nice!! do you have some pictures of the electric headlight conversion? thanks!

When I got a hold of charger specialties they told me it was a 10 week wait for the kit so I figured I would buy the one from Classic Industries and it showed up in 3 days with a charger specialties sticker on it

Ive been looking at a lot of other guys project 68 chargers and i felt like i was in the back of the pack cause i didnt pot a lot of in progress pics

(I try not to look at them cause they are ugly and the car is awesome now)

But here are a few

That is the original rear qtr with a second qtr siliconed......yes glued over the top of it and covered up with 25 lbs of bondo......wasnt pleased

Note the seam lines in the qtr cap......there are none because its a trick question. There was a mini basketball size ball of bondo shaped into the corner to look like the cap.

It weighed 4 pounds

Last but not least, there was no trunk pan, but about 25 tubes of silicone on top of the gas tank was sealed to some other metal..

The front floorpans were the same way, 5 or 6 tubes of silicone to seal in just regular ol sheet metal....it caught fire when cutting out the old floor.

Ironically the back seat deck and firewall were perfect
