Hey Zack, I did some checking, and you were right, all you need is a 3 speed shifter, not a 4. Looks like I will have to get a new one, that sucks, because I had machined up a nice billet handle and had it black anodized. Oh well, guess I'll just put it back on Ebay.
Not even close rapid. The wiring has me all discombobulated, ha. I did manage to get the dash installed today, tidied up some wiring that I did, and general clean up of the work bench. Maybe tomorrow I can hit it again.
Well 5.7, I've watched this post for a few months now, and I must add my voice to the growing crescendo of praise for your project. It truly is first class, and you're making all of us jealous.
Got some wiring done today, but I had to stop and go help my dad pull the k frame out of his 70 challenger rt that he is currently restoring. Them torsion bars were a pain, but they finally gave into the "bfh", lol!! The drivers side went real easy, probably due to seeing the bfh coming...lol!
Thanks for kind words Bryan. It's coming down to the home strecth, which is making me crazy with dreams of smashing the go pedal. I've been kicking the idea of MATS around, might be able do it next year....lets see what the better half thinks.
