late model hemi into early b bodies

Now that you mention it, they are forward more than most. Anyone know why?

lol....I didn't think they were actually farther forward, but they look like it from the shape of the opening

The grand illusion, maybe Dodge played the ultimate practical joke!

Started sanding the trunk lid, not in bad shape at all. The trim pieces are in excellent shape, except the trunk medalion, those always seem to be screwed up, but not to worry, I have a new one to take its place.

I got a gallon of primer for 44 bucks, so now I can start to primer the many pieces that will be painted.

Hey 5.7, you've been holding out on me, I just finished reading your entire thread, awsome job. Cain't wait to seee that monster in paint.

I wasn't holding out on you, I just could not post pics on your thread due to the size limitations.

Primer should go on the hood and trunk lid this weekend, that's if the rugrats let me work on it.

Hey 5.7 hemi I seem to have hit the jack pot on this forum. I just recently acquired a 03 5.7 and tran with 18,000 miles from a friend for $1500. Drove the truck before it was removed. I have been researching this hemi stuff into an early mopar and have decided to put it in my 68 charger. I just got done putting a LS1 into my chevy truck (I know its a chevy sorry) and have ok experience doing this stuff. I have been dealing with Bouchillon.com and they are advising that after I switch the intake manifold and convert the front assembly to the charger style, I can buy an 05 ECM and a custom harness and have one computer to run both.$$$$. If I could I would like to call you sometime and discuss the tunnel modification a little further. Also a few other questions. Would you mind?

Farmerkhp, hell yeah. I'm by no means an expert, but I will do what I can for ya.

Still working on the trunk and hood.

Haven't got much done, hopefully this weekend will be productive.

You better get with it. That thing ain't gonna build itself....:tongueflap:

Yeah,Yeah, it would be nice if the paint fairies came in and finished it. lol.

Well when they're done at your house, ya think you could send them to TEXAS???

Yeah,Yeah, it would be nice if the paint fairies came in and finished it. lol.

If your waiting on the paint fairys, you better get yourself a pink TuTu and start sanding......:tongueflap:

How about a kilt instead, pink isn't my color.

Did some sanding today, might beable to primer tomorrow, that's if the rugrats will give me some time! Got to love the little ones.
