LS swap ?

Personally, I think it's a waste of money, but theirs to waste.

i 100% LOVE ls's.... but hate seeing them in every car non stop.. i get why though :)

I have a garrett turbo that was set up on a slant six that will be in my 34 dodge brothers truck with a slant six that has already been fitted in the engine area. I have this project back burnered on me several times. hoping next winter will be the time to start on it again. sealing the heads are one of the issues, and if the cast pistons are replaced 500 hp has been achieved, with timing retarders, blow off valves. I have (3) slant six engines i paid 300 or less for each and two of them had 904's attached to them and they all run. the one that has bben fitted in the truck has 34k original out of a 64 valiant. It has ls motor mounts in it

GM has always been that way.....millions of parts for them in the wrecking yards. Personally, I'd rather drive something that every Tom, Dick and Harry DOESN'T drive! Thing is, I like Mopars vs Fords and Chevys.

I have an LS swap. In a Camaro. And I did it almost 15 years ago before everyone was doing it. I had to make a lot of parts and custom wiring. Now it’s all on eBay for 1/4 of what I spent.
But…..would never even consider that in any mopar. But I certainly would do a mopar crate engine conversion into any mopar.

*runs and hides till the pitch forks and torches go away*

Ok so now that that's over with, anyone ever LS swap a 73 RR and or do a 460LE tranny swap? Do they make a kit for it and or a plug in play wiring harness? Since I wanna modernize my RR I figured LS 4060LE, rear end swap to get rid of leaf springs and go full coil overs and go efi instead of carb, and a LS is a heck of allot cheaper and easier to build than a 318/340/360/5.7 hemi swap
I'm guessing @ed-shot500 ran and hid since the pitch forks and torches never did go away....what is it with the GM guys coming here and asking questions about installing LS engines in Mopars anyways and then gripe when they get torched lol?? I know I have a GM question but it's about a GM vehicle.....

Sure, but a twin turbo LS7 swap is just sacrilege to the original platform. Plop that in ANYTHING and it'll be faster, for sure. Meh...
I've never been a numbers matching type but I sure ain't going to take a vehicle like that and modify it. For example a 440 4 speed 71 Cuda is going to stay that way and I'll buy a plain Jane 318 Barracuda to modify....

there's a 70 barracuda on BAT right now with a hellcat swap six speed, owner put coil overs on it. In-Violet, (pcp) doesn't look like much reinforcement under it. definately no sticky tires

Just wait till the LS has lifter failure. Very common in LS engines. Once they tap they get sent to the junkyard. Oh wait, that's where you are getting your LS.. Never mind. Don't like the 8.1/4 rear end he'll stuff a ford 8.8 in it just because. With a TKO out of a mustang behind the 5.3 LS. You know just to hodge podge it fully.
I know you posted this forever ago....
But I just had to show something.
It's been up for a lot more than 2 months too...

Oh wow I know the future. LMAO
Yeah, that thing is going to sit on marketplace forever, 40 grand for that bastardized car is wild.
I don't understand, why a Ford 8.8 out of all the rear ends that you could get from mopar
I just don't get it
A STOCK truck engine???
Could've tossed in a 3rd gen hemi, but no, LS the world i guess

How do you know that the abortion listed above is the same car and same guy? The OP listed his location as Florida, that sales listing is Indiana.
