Looking good now NZ70RR :notworthy:

nz you have done one hell of a job on that 70 roadrunner, i followed your thread and seen all the work you and the body guy has done and now you have a gem.

Hi NZ 70 RR,

I have been lurking on your thread for some and enjoying seeing all of your progress. Looks like you are at right about at the same place I am at with my car. The body of my car is also on a rotisserie at the moment and now painted. Only big difference is my car is Lime Light.

Your car looks fantastic, and I am sure you are excited to start bolting parts back on the car. It is always fun to begin the reassembly process and start to see all the hard work come together.

Keep up the good work!

Hawk

That orange looks beautiful! cant wait to see it finished great work

Many thanks for the great comments guys, really appreciate it.

Brought her home today.

Can't wait to get her on her feet. Need to get bushes and upper ball joints in, then new bearing and seal in diff nugget.

Wow does that paint look great on there, you've got to be stoked!

Wow, Now i wonder how hard it is to not sleep in the shop with that one staring at it all night! Very nice seems like a small compliment... :) ill come up with something, i know after she's finished and together, a lot of head's will be turned!

Thanks for all the great comments fellers, I have to pinch myself quite often as I can not believe I am so far on. So happy with the color and that my prep work was up to scratch.

Have got the rear end together and are about to repair one of the lower arms. It had a badly made and welded swaybar bracket. Replacing it. Not the original arm.

Made up new fuel line from tank to engine. Made it using 3/8 tubing as tank sender has a 3/8 pipe.
Also made a new brake line from front to back.

With the help of a friend the RR is back on wheels .

I always make more progress when someone with greater knowledge helps. I am easily distracted.
