What ever happened to imagination and creativity?

Here is me nurturing the field of respect I once had for Richard Petty......

Flame thrower.gif

Petty has sold everything, there is no more Petty Motorsports; if you look for it you'll see that it's now called Legacy M.C. and #43 is attached to a Toyota Camry. Petty's name is gone from the building and letterhead.

RP: "If you're gonna drive that thing, I want to change the color and the number, ok?
I don't want to be associated with you..."
Y'all must be watching a different video than me.

Apparently Legacy (what's left of the old Petty Enterprises) runs or will be running Toyotas in
NASCAR (and King has been given a black Supra for persona use, which can't be much since he's over 80 now).
That Rutledge Wood guy apparently has something to do with a builders' competition at SEMA or
some such (along with those Ring Brothers clowns, etc.) and was somehow tied to a garage that
put a paint job on a Toyota.

All a dog and pony show put on for SEMA and for benefit of the Toyota people sponsoring the Petty
NASCAR efforts I guess? In any event, it's obvious RP isn't big on the idea, but goes along with it
because that's what you do with your primary sponsor?

RW is no more than a "personality" and to be honest, although he's supposed to be a great guy and
friend of the family and all, I've never cared for any of his stuff, including this huckster sideshow.
