I know that we are not supposed to talk politics on here,so I won't, but we should all breathe a sigh of relief that our hobby is safe for the next four years. Hopefully as much as twelve years. We are the low hanging fruit and would be the first to be banned if things kept going the way they were headed. You could say we Dodge-d a bullet!

GOD BLESS AMERICA :thumbsup::thumbsup: absolutely, things would have been way different, I was willing to accept either way, I'm just so sick of the bickering and my god the political ads and bull **** from both sides. Hoping we can end this nonsense and work together as Americans. I rest my case.

Got your crystal ball out eh? I don't see anything being banned. The real story is just time and attrition. Kids are less likely to want to spend hours in a garage restoring/fixing a 40-60 yr old car. Those of us born in the 50-60-70's are finding it harder to crawl under the car.

Weeel....so far so good but there will be someone that will take it into the PF lol. And I hope we've dodge a bullet!

The EV push is what I'm thinking was the topic, and banning gasoline vehicle in certain states. On a good note I was driving my Hellcat by a elementary school when they wer getting out and about 10 kids were wanting to see a burnout by spinning there hands in a circle, we still have hope.

Either way our hobby wasn't going anywhere in our lifetime. Now that is guaranteed for even longer.

In my state,no gasoline vehicles were going to be allowed to be registered by 2040,but they could implement it sooner if they chose to do so. They banned new car gasoline vehicle sales by 2035.

On a happier note..... golf is safe for at least four and a half years..... longer hopefully.

The muckety-mucks in society play golf. They aren't going to do anything to infringe on their own pleasures.

we'll be stacking your helmet for years to come!

Breath easy while you can, this country, as you know it, will go through drastic changes in the short term future. With Musk on a short list for a cabinet post the EV movement will excelerate and not go away as you think. The powers that will take over in January don't give a furry rats azz about our hobby because it doesn't generate any income for the mega rich.
And you might give this some thought also. Throughout history there have been numerous dictators on this earth and your current hero has made many public statements that indicate his intent is to be supreme ruler of this country and not merely a president. History will tell you one of the first things a dictator will do is take the weapons off the citizenry. If you are not part of the military or law keeping forces you will have to surrender your weapons.
Bucket up buttercup, changes are coming and you won't like most of them.
Is this political or what!!!
