First pass was a 7.14 during test and tune. You can hear a hop at launch. The best time of the day was a 6.93 @ 99.77. The second pass on video is a 7.08 on a 7.10 dial. Still trying to figure car out. Both passes on foot brake. Dave.

What is the the probram I see next to the video??? I like it. The speed seems off??

Whats not to love ...

I had something on my car that was similar but, Seems it never worked correctly for me. I dont see much after I let go of the trans brake but I use a couple of cameras and upload them to youtube that makes it easy for anyone to see. Video files are huge.

Camera is a Garmin. http://virb.garmin.com/en-US/ The elevation, G force, Speed, direction and such is a internal device that I should turn off. You are correct the speed and G force is off.
Video files are huge but you can reduce quality and edit length before you post or send. That helps. I also do not see much after I launch. I get back to the trailer and all kind of questions like trap RPM, and shift points in each gear and I have this deer in the headlights look and think I'll remember to look next time and guess what. I launch again and focus on the finish and sound and fun and adrenaline and sex and g forces and stopping this son of a bitch after the finish and how hot is it and do I still have oil pressure and lets do this again. Dave! I'm winded.....

Something I found very helpful is Time Slip Simulator WWW: timeslipsim.com
This program is very helpful and shows you your entire ride down the track from your timeslip input. Its free to try with no credit card for two weeks. I found it very helpful. Try it at least and see.

65-3... Question
I am considering a complete Tranz Act Transmission complete with Transbrake. How much did it cost you and does it all work ok ? Let me know. Thanks

65-3:
If you want to go 6.60 (or faster)
in the 1/8 just put on a brand new 1050 Dominator (the new SPORTSMAN MODEL for about $700 at Summit) with a Super Sucker 4500 to 4150 adapter, send your converter to Lenny and Ultimate Converter in North Carolina and have it re-do it with a 5000 flash, Ditch the super/stock springs and install Cal Trac Mono leafs...with the rest of your motor you could very well get into the 6.50's in the 1/8.

Why aren't you using the transbrake ????

New engine, more power, new trans w/brake, new tires, same OLD driver. Learning new tricks one at a time. (also I put the button on the wheel and wired it. Then proceeded to rip it off twice first day out) Dave

Been there done that. I moved it off the wheel after the tangled mess around the column.

Well....lowered my best ET, etc..about 6 weeks ago in good air (1500' adj altitude)
Best ET now is 10.582
Best MPH now is 126.33
Best 60' now is 1.469
Best 660 now is 6.697
Those results were still running 50% 91 pump / 50% 110 Race Gas @ 34 degree timing.

2 weeks ago (in 105 degree temp and 3700' adj altitude) I still got the following results:
10.595 @ 125.58
These results were switching to 100% 110 race gas @ 38 degrees timing to try to combat the crappy temp and adj altitude.

I think now with this recent switch to 100% race gas @ 38 degrees timing it will go into the 10.40's with 75 degree weather and 1500 feet or so adj altitude.
Can't wait for cool temps this fall.

Also, when I get serious about all this and spend the money for a TransBrake then see what happens....lol.

Mike you will have that humming more than it is right now.

And here I am the opposite. Gonna have to start posting in the 11 second thread again. Went from a 10.83 at 126 to a 11.55 at 117. Something is hurt and now I need to find it :(
Thought new converter got killed, but a drop of the Trans pan says otherwise.
Cut the engine filter apart and we have surprises. :(
Now need to do a compression test in all the cylinders and check valve lash and see where I'm at?
Mystery is it seems to run real well yet.
Joys of going fast.

whats the surprise????? metal? it could be valve lash, keep us posted we want you back in the 10's

Yeah non metallic particles. More than I need or want to see. #5 plug don't look hot either. Need to check compression and lash yet but I think I already know the answer unfortunately.
