This is a late post, but Memorial Day 2015 my Satellite 500" EDE head 3670# Satellite went 11.13 @ 121.5. Too bad dropped a carb screw down the intake after that. New motor in the works with more modern stuff. We'll see how it works out.

Thanks Budnicks. I'm sure the new motor goes well into the 10's. My 500" EDE motor with a mid 1970's cam, Victor intake, 850 DP did OK at 121.5 MPH. Indy heads & a modern cam built by an impressive builder should work well. Now if only the driver (me) could remember how to drive.

I had a Procharged corvette in my final grudge race of the night and he ran an 11.63.

Yep. That's the car that runs 11.28's in the 1/4 mile and that's my name.

It will be in the 10's soon enough so I'll tell you when it happens so you can follow me to that thread.

That was a procharged vette. Mine is the other lane.

The car has close to 2k miles on it now and its stone reliable. Doing some bodywork, installing a better hood and getting ready for paint.

Well I can finally post in this thread it may not be deep in the 11s but i will take it for a 4000# cast headed 440 manual trans car! also achieved a little air under the front tire!
