Now that is a lot of work! Kinda like doing a Duster cheese grater. It'll be well worth it once the paint is on.
I just went to get some 120 grit because I had 80 and it was leaving scratches but all I have is an 18 inch board. It will have to do. The other problem I'm having is finding so thing to match the curves in the door. Any ideas?RTK get yourself a 30 inch long block. Then spray entire body with guide coat. Dry sand with 120 then look with a florescent light.
The color will be inferno red pearl from a 99 durango.You can also use armaflex, not the soft stuff but the denser rigid stuff, it's still flexible enough to match the contours... if you are doing it on a tight budget, otherwise you can get a Durablock for about $30...
