A minor detail item that is often overlooked is painting this tab and bolt in the front wheel wells. This is usually painted on lighter colored cars rather than darker colored cars because this area stands out. Whether purple cars came that way is unknown to me, but I painted it black anyway.

Is that your hood sitting on its edge with nothing under it? :BangHead:

You're making some swift progress!

I was slowed down a bit yesterday by the repro Taiwan-made wheelwell opening moldings. It took me 1 1/4 hours to remove the crappy blue protective film from the four. It was on like iron. Heat didn't soften the glue & I had to use a rag soaked in lacquer thinner to soften the glue & even with that, it was coming off in bits and pieces. :BangHead:

After that was done, the wiper motor, pivots & linkage installed along with the headliner saw teeth around the rear window.

Been there and done that with that effing blue protective plastic on the repro wheel opening moldings! I hope you didn't use all your Polygrip on those headliner teeth! Lol

Got the side glass and regulators adjusted & lubed. What a PIA! Hopefully, the vinyl top will get installed in the next week or so.
