Do you both have transbrakes? I'm a tuna fish with my foot on the brake pedal
The starter might have been holding the button down when you lit the staged light. I have had them do that if they feel you are slow lighting the second bulb. My thoughts..---
Thanks Bob. Yes it's working pretty good. Rear shock rebound on full tight, front shock rebound on 7R and 3000 RPM launch. I tried moving the launch rpm up to 3400 and the spin and bounce came back. I car is consistent now so I'll run it this way and start working on me. I went out in the second round today, barely got into the second stage and the lights were coming down right away. I had a terrible light. I took lots of time turning on the second light, I don't know if that is why they came down right away or not.

Best of luck Malex, be safe.Loading up and gonna get back at it. Car was working pretty good last time out posting a 10.12, 131.57 and a 1.38 60’. Hoping to better that this time out although weather looks to not want to contribute anything as usual.
A couple changes, up one size in jets all the way around, installed a billet meziere water pump and gonna give the stiff sidewall 10.5’s a try.

Fattened up the 1050’with 92’s. Ended up increasing the intermediate air bleeds a tad to clean up the blubbering at mid range. Had to offset the fan to get the meziere pump in.

Trying the 29X10.5’s tomorrow. Exact tires that Mike Gaines runs. Will see if there are any “Gaines”. Haha.

Sliders lowered the rear some. I suspect they have helped in breaking into the 130’s 60’s.

---I could be wrong, but I believe if the starter activates the tree before you are in, you are timed out, the red bulb lights and you lose via foul.
---My slicks are MT 10.5w/s.they work well!

Glad you figured it out. Post up the 9!—-
In my case it was some very positive pinion angle. Replaced the curled perches and it was a different car. Same shocks.
