Time to hit the Track.

Looks like it's working good.
Wait till fall cooler weather and you will get that 9 sec. Pass easily.

It's always amazing. A few little unnoticed items bite us the worst. You are on the trail now. Good headway, don't stop there's more where that came from.

Malex, awesome launch and it appears you have finally found the handle. Way to go!

Thanks Bob. Yes it's working pretty good. Rear shock rebound on full tight, front shock rebound on 7R and 3000 RPM launch. I tried moving the launch rpm up to 3400 and the spin and bounce came back. I car is consistent now so I'll run it this way and start working on me. I went out in the second round today, barely got into the second stage and the lights were coming down right away. I had a terrible light. I took lots of time turning on the second light, I don't know if that is why they came down right away or not.

Attn Mike Gaines. New personal ET best. 10.12 @ 131.5 mph. 138 60’.

Good Job.....
Beats my personal best of 10.158 but my 131.54 may have slightly beat your 131.5 unless you just didn't post your last number after the 131.5X.
Your 1.38 60' also beats my 1.40 60'
I cant wait until my next outing on Sept 15,16th.

Thanks Doug. I think there is too. Hopefully I can find it sooner than later. I've got a couple of things that I want to improve on for next time out. I can just taste the 10.0's.

I'm liking the thought of that NSS.

So, do you like the sliders? Can you even notice they're there, other than the improvement. I was wondering if they had any quirks.

Time for stiffer valving in the rear.

You can't tell there's any difference at all, other than the rear of the car sits down about a half inch. On my car it also increased overall travel by over an inch. Unhook the rear shocks and give the car a bounce, smooth as silk free movement.

Fixed it for ya!

I'm grateful for all the help from everyone here. It's been a team effort here. Wookie has also been a great help at the track, thanks Wooks!

Yes I bet that would firm up the rear more so that I could put some more into it on the line. I have checked into getting them re-valved with a company in mn and I couldnt get a firm return time on them. Racing is every 2 weeks now and finished in a month.
The other thought was that I would switch to a ladder bar and use this Cal trac set up on the Dart project.

Malex have a question, wheel stands how much is too much? Just curious.

If I could, I’d like at least this much and a little more , run 10.0’s and not have the front wheels doing the bird dance when it settles down.

I was looking closer at our first round elimination ticket. Had I not let off and just trusted my dial it may have been a race decided by RT. I was 3/100ths off my dial and that was the margin of victory.
Why I let off being the slower car? Brain fart on my part. You had a .003 better RT then me, so in the end you probably would have still won. Great race regardless and loosing to a fellow Mopar isn’t bad. I do need to shake the first round blues though. I’m beating myself now with my mind.
2 weeks I hope to be in better shape. On the mad search for a 7AL-3 box before then.
Glad the car is coming around for you. I knew you would be a tough competitor once you had things sorted.

I had to work to catch you Wooks, didn't think I would, just got ahead, off the gas, touched the brakes, and the win light in my lane came on. I also ran my dial in, it was a close one.
My grandson got us on his phone too.
