Trick Flows on the 440.....

Firing...like this afternoon? I'll be down in a couple hours for a ride.

Whoa there G! I'm getting the pulleys all set I hope this weekend so that'll finish up the cooling, alt, AC compressor & power steering I hope. Still waffling on which ignition box to get.

That's kinda what I was leaning towards. I have an orange box from the late 80's I ran that would be a good spare, along with the ballast.

I'm thinking rev n ator. Rev limiter is cheap insurance for sure!

When my ignition box fried, I went with a 6AL simply for the rev limiter. Even if you go with a different setup, I would consider one...
That's what I run in my street car. Great igntion. The 6AL has the integrated rev limiter.

Ok a update for anyone that's going to run trick flows with AC on your car. The heads are about .750 taller. and with the original valve covers Jim had picked out for me I had a clearance problem.

Even with a 90 I couldn't get the valve cover off. I had these DC covers I had originally bought cause I like the old school look, they cleared fine and I can retain the valvecover studs. They cleared without a gasket so I should be fine. I'll roll the motor over to double check where the baffles are just to be sure. I think I'll see if a 45 will clear as that will make my routing of lines neater.

Good thing you didn't sell me those covers!

Race cars have A/C??? LOL

I had to bump this so I could copy the link, us low tech guys are a pain, I know.
