What did you do to your Mopar today?

Took two fittings, cut both in half. Then tigged the two good halves to make my needed fitting. It's for my PS in the `cuda.

Removed the shifter linkage and drained the pan. Preparing to drop the 727 this weekend.

Took the 'Cuda to the exhaust shop and had pipe welded in place of the temporary flex tube I used...no more exhaust leak!

Buttoned up all the wiring inside the car and vacuumed it...

Cleaned the outside of the car real good too...

TOOK HER FOR A LITTLE CRUISE AROUND TOWN! !!!!

Jeff

Got it ready to bleed the brakes after replacing the master cylinder. Not real comfortable with it up on jack stands......

Gassed it up ready for a road trip tomorrow.

Dropped off my rear end housing, and the Magnum Force Front clip at the shop to get them Powder Coated . . . should be back in my hands in 1 - 2 weeks . . .

Looking forward to having them done so the work can continue on my Build !

Drove the road runner like a rental...out on Woodward. There was no cruising today, with that stupid street-racing blocking the entire southbound side of Woodward. Traffic was bumper to bumper in Pontiac, from 7am till I left at around 8pm. Lots of unhappy people. We just did what we do every year....burnouts in front of our lot, hung out, ate, and enjoyed car guys company. We have the fastest lot on Woodward.

I was out there for a a few hours but only went up to 15 mile then headed south again, caught up with some old friends for a while.

Bled the brakes after replacing the master cylinder. Took it to a cookout after it had been sitting all week waiting for parts and then went to pick up a new brake light bulb that was out.

Found the cruise control servo that was sitting in a parts box when I bought the car. Cleaned it up, sanded and resprayed it. It's currently not hooked up, but I thought it's better off mounted than sitting in a box. Will have to gather the rest of the parts to get it functioning (not that I'll ever use it)

Got column all the way in and oddball countersunk phillips screws with hard to tighten lock nuts through the "puck". Now I can't find the roll pin :(

Had to reroute new brake line from pass front to clear the column, the shift arm, and the front to rear line. That was fun.

Removed the mask plug I made for the blower motor, brakleened the undercoating off the wires and test fitted the motor.

Blasted and painted some brackets. Vacuumed stray sand from fan cavity and interior.

I'm definitely feeling the downhill side of this project now. Hallelujah, holy ****, pass the tylenol

Notice the center of the brake booster is still the OEM CAD plating, while the rest is the Krylon "Battery Protector" with a clear coat.

I'm liking that more and more every day vs a $300 re-plating job plus shipping.
