What did you do to your Mopar today?

She's back in the wind. Our good lord couldn't have gave us a nicer day for it.

Did the shim mod to my Saginaw power steering pump. When I pulled out the pressure fitting it already had one shim so I added 3 more. Definitely firmed up the steering. I only took it out for a quick spin, but probably should have added 4....Still, much better than it was.

Installed a new B&m ratchet shifter and installed new valve cover gaskets and new chrome valve covers

Looks like my steering input shaft seal replacement was successful.

Now I'm working on getting as much rust as I can off the underside of my Roadrunner hood.

Combination of grinding, sanding, blasting and going to try Evaporust for the underside of the skin.

That's a 6 cyl diesel engine stand it's resting on, with a pallet on the back side for support.

Picked it up at a speedometer shop yard sale- $25. Has been a good investment.

put the tunnel ram on top of the engine to see what it might look like...yes, I know the carb is sideways. I sat it on there trying to gage the height. That Stage 2 looks pretty good on there.

Time for new shocks on the '55 Plymouth

. I bought some Gabriels for a '75 Corvette. I had to open up the slots in the mounting tabs on the shocks for the 3/8 bolts and had to remove about 1/32" on the control arm to pass the shock through. When I pulled the old shock out, it had undercoating on it and was stamped ORIFLOW, which made me think I had the original factory shocks on the front.

changed the spark plugs and gave it a bath getting ready for our first cruise

Got the front suspension about buttoned up, & wilwood caliper brackets mounted, I'll get rotors and calipers on this weekend.

QA1 dynamic strut bars
QA1 tubular lower control arms
Viking double adjustable shocks
Poly bushings from PST
Moog tie rod ends
Upper and lower ball joints from PST
summit racing sleeves
wilwood 6 piston front discs
