My hats off to you. It's very difficult to weld thin sheet metal with Flux Core. I've done it, but it's not easy, not to mention the fact that it's very tedious cleaning the weld before striking the next arc... you can't weld over slag and expect it to hold together over time. Sometimes it's the only route to take however, especially in areas with old dirty metal that can't be removed and replaced for whatever reason. Of course, shiny new "clean" metal generates little or no slag obviously, but the process is still pretty tough on thin materials.

hood blew open on ol blue .....took the cover off of sally just for some air. .... shop boned me so she back home now least i didn't get charger for the new dents

god .. that was the hardest part .... i did cut the old stuff out first and cleaned it down to clean good metal. drivers side was bad tho ... bondo over rust. good job tho lol but it will need a cab corner. useing it as a teacher thing ... il get it rite before i try and do the patches sally needs.

Was up till 1:30 AM last night , finishing up detailing on Brutus in prep for one of my favorite car shows today. Woke up this morning to RAIN and it wouldn't stop long enough for the roads to dry. Well, it's clean and shiney for the next time..........................MO

drove it to the next city over to get a mower belt and test the temp with the air on

ran steady 160 without AC, 170-180 with AC, climbing while stopped.

probably should see where it tops out (if it does)

I need to flush the cooling system too.

Washed and detailed the 63; then took the wife to dinner in her.
