What did you do to your Mopar today?

Was a sick(as in ill,not warped/depraved/whatever)-*** dog today;only had the motivation to swap out the old headlights for new Halogen units. Let there be light, indeed. Then I closed up shop-it's gonna rain anyway-and came back in to try and eat and then bug you guys.

got the front suspension back under the old girl ( minus one shock for which I apparently lost the bolt for) and got her back on her feet. Spent most of the afternoon heating and hammering on a $900 set of TTI headers that wont clear the passenger side torsion bar. Had to pull them off twice to do it too. Man dont you love it. Progress at any price it appears.

Cleaned her up real nice & took her a car show at Bear Mountain NY.....Great time, cars, girls, & more cars......

hmmm...so the "fits like a glove no hassle" TTIs are as good as everyone says?

Still waiting on my car from the shop

what I dont understand is how far off they were. I could almost understand a minor interference, but this was major, hitting the collector and two tubes on the passenger side! The drivers side fit fine! I suppose it will never be noticed by anyone since behind the torsion bar, but it should not have happened on a factory set up.

started welding a new panel on the inside of my rocker panel so i could have an excuse to work out the kinks to get used to my new welder.

Been dealing with soft brakes and the pedal slowly going to the floor so I replaced the master cylinder as the seal in the old one on the piston was failing. I was shocked at how easy it was and even more shocked that all 4 bleeders were still fully functional and unrusted. Popped on the new cylinder had a buddy help with the bleeding done in about 30 minutes. Nice solid brake pedal at every stop .

must have power brakes. non power master cylinders are a PIA!

Christmas in august

Got parts from Kramer as promised today, rear bumper rubber filler, cowl to hood seal and coresupport to hood seal. It's a shame once they are installed the car doesn't look any different.
