What did you do to your Mopar today?

Changed the wheels from rallies to steelies image.jpg

All right now! Got all the rods ground down and sanded and now am attempting to bead-blast those fuggers. "Attempting" is the key word here;there's enough humidity in the garage to keep filling the water trap(emptied OFTEN) and causing the beads to pack up in the hose. Frustrating as dealing with my second ex-and that's saying a lot!

Oh;bloody nice Challenger,and I like the steelies a lot!

Made an appointment to bring the car to the chassis shop.Getting engine limiters, window net,"J" bars, knee bars and "OH CRAP" bars witch are hoops under the chassis towards the front to save the headers & oil pan in the event of a hard landing. Also got a price on a parachute mount but that can wait for now.
Also ordered a new Simpson MOPAR race suit, shoes, bloves and a carry bag!

What i have been doing.

IMAG0149.jpgIMAG0206.jpgHey guys haven't been posting much lately...not my Mopats butt I threw together this 408 for my buddies Duster over the summer.

IMAG0439.jpgIMAG0435.jpgAlso been doing some painting for him also.

Installed a set of helper leafs on my Mopar Performance super stock springs. Looking to get rid of the air shocks. Haven't set it back on the ground yet to see if that worked.

I took a couple photos of one of mine, on a nice sunny Northern California day.... But it's dirty as hell, from all the snow we had, that is pretty much all gone now... Thank GOD !!

My wife had off today and made her presence out in my garage and helped me wax the car and polish the rims, Almost ready to come out of hibernation, warmed it up a couple days ago considering it hasn't ran in about 4 months that sounded good to me after seeing some of you folks videos.

Looked for parts--sold some parts-waited on the delivery truck/mail man for parts just a great day ...

Looked at my empty engine bay and wished I had a 426 to go into it. Then realized I only have a couple more pieces to put on my rebuilt 440 and it will be done. Then I can put it back on the road. Cant wait!!

Bought a ridculously overpriced original cast iron 4 barrell intake for my 64 wagon 318 poly engine. Truth is, I`m glad I found it and bought it from a good forum member.

That's a sweet wagon, bob.

Mine is snowed in in the barn. Dang I wish I had that wagon Bob. What a great toy to have.

That is a sweet looking wagon and love the looks of it with those wheels!

roadrunner1971 Thats a beauty you have there! The steelies do look good on it..

Brake work--got the right manual master mounted and aii air out of system--now wheel cylinders then flush--got the parts --new bulkhead connector--hello under dash

Even though it's colder than my second ex-bitch's heart(if the c@#t had one),I'm gonna fire mine up today and let her run for a bit. I'm in the mood to bloody drive it! It's supposed to get up to the 40's next week here in MI;I see a short road trip! Also might pull the 670 Holley off and put the 750 Holley back on;hell,I might get motivated this week to pull the Eddy Performer 440 off and put my Holley Street Dominator on for shits and grins-might get her out of the stoopid 16 second range and get a 15 out of her. Won't know about that until I get to the track, probably in late April.
