What did you do to your Mopar today?

Found a loose ground to the headlight harness that I didn't see the last time I had headlight issues. I ordered a dash harness and it "fixed" it at the time. I went to take it out tonight, turned on the headlights and they didn't work. I wiggled the ground to the radiator panel and low and behold, headlights flickered.

Ordered a lot of parts, fan steeringwheel shifter cable and some header wrap, long day ahead tomorrow

Changing the water pump on my Dakota AGAIN.

OEM- 129,000 miles

GMB reman- less than 10,000 :(

When you find & fix the problem clean it up & put some dielectric grease on all the connections, it will help stave off, moisture, corrosion & oxidation...

Thank's Bear R. the quarter's are on back order till at least some time in october though

I have been working on rebuilding my 68 Heater/AC box. Wow, how nasty! Looks good now. Didn't realize the difference in a 67 Belvedere and 68 Charger until the 67's was rebuilt and in the Charger. Now, I have to take the 67's out and put in the newly rebuilt 68's. Not looking forward to it! But, so it goes.

Fixed my instrument cluster hi-beam indicator, thanks to one of our members. Also replaced the glove box.

Cleaned undercoating off the control arms, pressed out bushings, bead blasted and ready for paint tomorrow.

Did the Mad Electric ammeter bypass, replaced a lot of bulbs and fixed the outside door handle so I could open door from outside. It was a clip that came off, just needed to put it back on. Also put on new drivers side arm rest and base, new window crank and new inside door handle. The plastic was missing between the door and door panel, so cut me some plastic and glued it on. While I was in there lubed everything up real good, now things work so much easier. I need to do the same on the passenger side now. Also need to hook up a volt guage since the amp guage no longer works. I don't think it ever ends with these old cars, but wouldn't have it any other way.....I GUESS.

Took it to Cruisin' Hines then on the expressway driving home I asked my girlfriend if she had ever been 100mph in a car before. The answer was "no", the road ahead was clear, so I briefly drove it in an irresponsible manner - plus a few more mph for good measure.

purchased an "original" dash pad from a member on the internet.he's holding onto it till oct.for me.very nice of him..real nice original condition....here's whats in mine now.and the new addition coming soon.cant wait...God Bless...Barry..

Got my new Fiberglass Front/Rear Bumpers for my 68 RR affectionately know as "the B_I_T_C_H", I'm getting ready to clean them up, straighten out the extremely rough cuts :angryfire: , on the edges {bottom of the rear bumper}, drill for the blinkers & bolt holes & prep for Chrome paint & then I will use translucent Black over that, for my bumper treatments... I thought it may look pretty cool with the black accents, I will have on the car, an A12 lift off hood & black on the lower section, below the belt/body line, down the sides of the car.... I think I also might glass in some 1/8"x 2"x 4ft pieces of aluminum on the back sides so the will be a little stiffer, better for where the bolts hold them down & not vibrate while driving @ speeds, they only weight 4#'s each, but I'm pleasantly surprised on actually how good the finished gel coated surfaces look, should be pretty easy to prep, I hope...LOL... Unlimited Fiberglass Products PL-104ba & PL-111a $129.oo each not the best quality probably but fit my budget & I'll improve on them anyway... wish me luck...LOL...

update; they are wavy dogs, they cut the inner section of where the front blinker mount out way too much & I will have to modify them in that area now too, it seems no-one makes any quality, front & rear Fiberglass bumpers, on the west coast now... oh well such is life, I will over come, cheap parts, just bite me in the *** every time... debating on doing a small custom blinker in the front bumpers instead...
