Engine out…. been 34 years since my last engine pull on a Belvedere. Actually enjoyed it. Now, not looking forward to front steering & suspension work

nice ya got a place to do this stuff in.
It’s nothing crazy, just a detached two car. I ended up running electric out to the garage a few years ago, and then once I was getting close to the bodywork stage my dad and I hung rafters across the garage and insulated. It’s nowhere near what some of the guys here have, but it’s mine and I love it…

way better than what i got. total old school here. old minivan for tool box/ parts room and work outside and no tree for shade... most of the stuff i build only gets to the running driving stopping burnout safe everything working stage. maby swap some body panels.

Wow - one of my all time favorite cars. I actually have worked on and driven a red AAR 'Cuda 4 speed that was originally in-violet. Other than that, it is a very original car, and cool as hell...

Yes, I'm jealous!!!

thanks, I've wanted a car like this for I don't know how long. Its a real FC7 and it actually came with white interior too (will be taking everything back to original as possible) Black now, this is a 727 with the slap shift of course. the 4 speed would be incredible but I'm happy with this. I bought the car without the drive train waiting on some returns to come in this week will be purchasing the rest of that from the owner, building the new shop has drained alot of my funds kinda getting tight.

It is an era correct engine, matching was gone before he purchased the car in 1983, but was a somewhat local car so still a slim chance of that showing up, doubtful but who knows. now the hunt for a 340 six pack setup.

Finished up the steering and front suspension. Test fit the new rims and tires, wanted to make sure everything clears.

I stared at it and drank beer. Wishing the soon to be owner would pay me so I can buy a B body with a big block.

Played musical cars and once the were shuffled around, I loaded the 68 onto the trailer for the trip to Carlisle tomorrow.

Look at those wheels, he obviously can't afford to pay you if all he has on the car is those poverty caps! He might want to use one of them out at the entrance to Walmart! Lol
