What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

I thought I'd better get done with the outside part of my air reel and switch before it gets cold. I'll pull the wire and install switch here shortly, but the worst part is done. Next is a few drops downstairs and to my compressor.

I went and picked up my new firearm, handgun, this afternoon, after the waiting period time was over, out here in Commiefornia.
A 9mm CZ model 75 that i had my eye on.
Wanted to treat myself with buying something, after i dropped 50 pounds off this old mans body.
Now I'm at 180 pounds, what i weighted, when i was 27 years old, back in 1980, when i discharged out of the Air Force, 43 years ago.

Drove from Arizona to Southern California to pay some bills and move some money, drove from Claremont to Vegas to pick up one of my shepherds after surgery, spent a lot of money, and then drove back to Arizona.

Still getting rid of stuff and generally cleaning up and......looking for what in the hay I did with that box of .22 shorts but if I buy another box, so looks like I'll buy more dang it.

I'm finally sticking in the low 190's instead of bouncing between 192 and 200 for the last several months.....180 is next I hope. Still have junk food in the house but eating less and less of that.

Found the .22's!!! They were in a drawer that I had looked in 3 times before....

building soffits, 1 1/2" angle, drywall, and a few 1 5/8" studs shot to the grey iron. tear away beading the skylights and closures, getting close to mud time.

Cleaned the garage and got the Daytona project down off the lift. Getting the garage ready for winter storage mode! The first picture is the before and the other pictures are after. I had to shorten the car up a couple of feet!

Hey Pete, I'll GLADDLY help you make "storage space" by "removing parts & pieces" for 71-2 Chargers, this way you don't need to toss em. Look at the dumpster cost savings.

John

I will keep that in mind John. Unfortunately those parts go to the car,and I won't need to dispose of them at this time! lol

Went to Mega Parts to pick up a couple of things and visit with Roy, Jamie and Zack.
Always something new and cool to see at their place.

Made a deal and traded a nice bare set of 15x6.5 rally wheels and $50 for a set of Prostars. GREAT DEAL! I took one wheel last week to make sure the back spacing was a good fit… It was and I picked up the other 3 yesterday. Today I spent some time watching football and polishing them… They were dull with hard water spots some before and after pics. Going on this RR that has been sitting for a looong time under cover don’t even have any photos of it at our new house…Have to get **** done before I can’t…

Took the solar screens off my bay window earlier today....went to the grocery store before that and was surprised to find some sweet deals on some chicken salad and other similar items and bought everything that was still in the case. Not much room in the freezer now :)

Right in plain sight, right?
I watched Ben Hur.
Well, there's 4 hours you'll never get back (I factored in bathroom breaks).

Snow day today, so I made this 18" x 32" rustic frame for a picture of a small mountain lake that I took earlier this year in the Spring.
Going to give this one to my daughter for her house.
