Set up the bench grinder I got for Christmas. Never had one before but it's one of those tools I feel every garage should have. Don't know how often I'll use it. This afternoon I sharpened all my garden tools, took about 1/2 hour.

Bought a 'Columbia' 3/4 hp bench grinder from Taiwan in the late 70's and that joker is still kicking butt! Yes, I've used the snot out of it over the years. I put it on a pedestal in the mid 80's....which uses a 1 1/2" thick plate base that is a cutout for a 24" pipe flange that was thrown in the scrap bin at work. It's not easy to move around but I still can move it when needed and it stays put when doing heavy grinding. Now my 'pedestal vice' could use a heavier base but it's ok for most of what I do with it. It's one of 4 vices (drinking is 5) but could use another grinder but doubt I'll get one at this point in my life.

Still here, grid work in section two all done and 1/2 done section 3. Finish that tomorrow and we also need to move all the flooring from the hangar to the basement before the snow globe starts. 2 feet of snow in the forecast starting Monday...

Ceiling grid all up, 3 pallets of flooring moved into basement (just in time with 2 feet of snow in the forecast starting tonight) and the first light wired up to see how bright so I can plan placement for the other 31..:BangHead:

I know your pretty meticulous in the jobs you do so the tile install probably not a battle! I've re+re'd a lot of tiles doing hvac work and if the grid isn't right getting tiles back in is not fun!
I installed/finished pro basketball courts and rubber playarea flooring that you find at mcD's for a while so I have some experience! after 50yrs in the workforce I've done a lot of things, but airplane mechanic is definately not on my list!
snow just started here hoping for lots and no more -35's nobody needs that!

Only one in the office.
(So I went around and coughed in every cubicle without a mask on)

I think we made the right choice on panel pattern. Light placement is so they're at each corner of my billiard table and the table light I've yet to find but the wire is ready at dead center of where the table goes.

Plowing & shoveling, wait 2 hours and do it again...and again...
That'll be all day tomorrow for me. Southern Ontario is in grid lock (401 is closed from Toronto to Cornwall !!) so UPS stood me up for delivery today and I knew that at 9AM... so I didn't plow. Tomorrow I need to get her cleaned up so I can receive my '64 bumper!

Made a new crossfeed screw for my lathe at work.

Then plowed a ton of snow once I got home.
