No thanks! Let me know your upper deck lap count....
Package arrived this afternoon.
Lol, next time pls take some photos before ya chow down…something about the half-eaten display that doesn’t agree with me..Well, a couple of nights ago we went with a few friends out for a meal at a relatively new Smoked Meat Restaurant. They allegedly have the biggest smoker in New Zealand, and the reputation is growing. I had seen the menu prior, and wondered if the prices were a bit steep given the portion sizes....but once it comes out onto the table, you realise how good it is, and it does get filling. It also helps to have a few good beers along for the ride.
Here's a link to the restaurant..... Blue Ox Babe - BBQ Joint
....and of course....
I also grabbed some take-out for my elder son who couldn't make it along.....had some nice sandwiches with warmed up smoked brisket yesterday.
Smoked meats, beers and shenanigans......a great evening....

Same with studded all weather tires!Young and poor me also screwed screws back in after coating with silicone or rubber cement.
Get enough of them and fun spark shows happen when you burn rubber.
A few years ago I ordered some really short studded snow tires. IIRC, they were about 22" tall. Got them mainly to see how my 95 V6 would act with a lower gear ratio and what better why to see than using short tires! They were the only things I could find that short so.....anyways. Got lots of looks just from the noise they made lol. Got one cop's attention as I drove by him doing 30 mph. He was in a parking lot about to get in his car and looked over at me as I went by. I'm sure he was wondering what the noise was. The V6 woke up too!Had studded snow tires and spun them for 50ft+. Looked in the rear view mirror and saw scratch lines in concrete pavement.
When I saw how many tons it is, my first thought was that you must be splitting 'live' oak but then noticed your location. Doubt there is any live oak up there. Man, that stuff has a wavy grain and is super though to split. My dad come over one day while I was hand splitting some red oak and he looked at the live oak that was off to the side and asked me why I wasn't working on it too. Uh, tough stuff dad and well, not gonna do it. He grabbed the maul and got 3 short 8" diameter pieces split in 20 minutes and was worn out after that. Had access to a 20 ton splitter for awhile and that thing only put 1" deep dents in it.....Package arrived this afternoon.

My whole life has been about the smell of wood, moving wood, cutting wood, nailing wood, wood for the chair someone sat on, wood, wood. Screw wood
