What is your realistic "my car is not for sale" price, but......

I spent 2 years of blood, sweat and tears to build a car that I wanted. Exactly as I wanted it, with no more and no less. So why would I want to sell it and start the whole process all over again for no reason? My car might be worth up to 40K to the right buyer on the right day.

My don't want to sell it price would have to be 120K, which I know no one would pay. If I had paid a professional shop to do all the work I did on my car, it would easily cost 100K or more. So 120K would cover a new car and a restoration to my standards.

Mine would likely be $50,000, a lot more than I have in it. The money would buy another basket case but this time around it would also fund an Art Morrison chassis and a Hellcat drivetrain.. probably be broke again at that point a finish it out of pocket lol.

747Mopar . . . you should be in the $75-100,000 range for your work of "art" . . . That's an awesome car and an awesome build . . . Don't sell yourself short . . . Great job on your car ! ! !

We used to say 8K for the Sport Satellite and people would run. Then one day a guy got his wallet out and we had to change the number to 18K.

I'm seriously thinking about selling mine. I don't drive it that much anymore and it's time for someone else to enjoy it.

It is NOT for sale. ....but, $35k might....might change my mind.

I've only had ridiculous trade/offers on my car that were laughable to say the least. I'd say $45K would get me thinking but like others have said I've got a 7 year old daughter that has grown up with this car through the restoration and now the enjoyment of it. Those memories are priceless and now I've got a soon to be one year old son so I'll only be adding to them. And now that I've reminisced and typed all this out I have to double my price to $90K

I have told passers by as I am detailing it in my driveway to bring the deed to their house and we can START a discussion! In reality, I will never get what I have in it but right now I might consider $125k. You see, I REALLY don't want to sell it......yet.

I believe there will be a reality program on cable/satellite TV on this very subject....

should be interesting to watch.... the people should be interesting...and the cars...

It was "What My Car Worth". They went to auctions and guessed what sell for. They had Peter Klute and 2 other buyer offer to buy cars before auction. The seller could accept one of the offers or go to auction.
