It's been 10 years and I wish I had room/money to get a second one, but I have to make a decision. If I want something I am not afraid to drive around or modify, I need to sell her.

I know it's the worst time to sell, but summer is here and it's a ragtop!

well it all depends on the resto quality, if given more info a more exact price range will be available to you, but from the looks of it its a numbers matching 383 and a bucket seat car? cant tell too well and being a convertible you have a nice one, id put it in the 25-50k range for this economy, if you want a more precise answer i need more pics and details

OK...Thanks!

383 matching numbers all over the car, never hit no rust no bondo. Restored back to correct, have the build sheet.

The only incorrect item so far is that the original configuration had the turn signal bullets on the fenders... those were filled in, but the holes can be drilled back out and the bullets plugged back in, they are safely tucked away in a box.

Original AM/FM radio car, early build (October 68) came with no headrests and a chrome 68 Charger shift knob from the factory. Console, auto. Deluxe bucket interior, but that was standard for all ragtops I'm told. Wood-grain wheel original (good but most of the grain is gone) interior is in new condition, driver's seat has some wear from my driving it, thinking of recovering it and a new carpet if I decide to sell.

Anything else? Thanks again for the reply!

Put it on ebay with a high reserve and see what kind of offers it brings in. Get the exposure and an idea what people are willing to pay. Then you can always have bidders contact you and buy it bypassing all the fees.

Value......

Here are some links to some cars similar to yours, (two that have sold recently). The prices listed are the asking prices and not likely the selling prices... but I would assume the actual selling prices to be within 10%.

Also.... The bucket seats, (C55) were an option in all 69 Road Runners including convertibles as was the console (C16).

High reserve on Ebay sounds like a good idea. Nice clean looking car by the photos wish you luck on it, Its hard to enjoy a ride if your afraid to take it out on the road for fear of something happening. Hard decision.

okay with what you said about the car id give it a good >40,000$! sounds like you got yourself a nice car to sell

thanks a lot folks! It is a hard decision. Especially condidering it's not a financial reason. I'm firmly in the "cars are for driving, stocks are for investing" camp. But lately I find myself wishing I had air-conditioning, a real radio, better handling etc. but I can't bring myself to modernize or upgrade anything because I am a freak about correctnes.. Heck, I even keep the parts, like the starter, I replace! I figure why go nuts looking for NOS parts when I can refurb the "NOS" stuff that was on the car right?

I don't even want to go into how much I spent getting an AM/FM thumbwheel radio!

With only a one-car garage and limited funds, the only option I can see is to sell it and get a cheaper model, like a Belvedere or Sattellite to resto-mod with all the modern conveniences.

trade....

You might concider finding a restro-mod that suits you tastes and work out a trade. In this market you can likely come out much better then a straight up sale. There are several reputable collector car dealers out there, (especially in your area) that would love to work with you on such a desirable car as yours.
