Where did you and your car go today

On a side note, my car has been bastardized. Coronet 440 top trim, 500 lower trim. The dash is not even near stock and neither is the outdated interior. The rear end is stock, but as far as the rest under there, everything is new or modern. The frame has been tied, front to back. I have never owned a totally stock car and never will. In a few weeks I'm going to take the interior out of it and install a new American shifter and add more dynamat xtreme to every square inch from doors to firewall to behind the back seat. New sound system or whatever it takes to make it what I want.

35 miles each way to the body shop, with a few stops for groceries on the way back. Bee ran like a top and right on the stat. Lost a Yellow battery cap in my travels but it was great to get out for a cruise..

I hear ya, I can’t blame you. I started and finished all 4 corners with new brake shoes and front bearings today, went out for some hard stop testing, it went flawless, then……
A 77 or 78 Trans Am with what sounded like a little bit of hardware under the hood pulled up at the light.
Wife wasn’t with me and I couldn’t so no, so with him dogging me on the driver’s side we went from a 30 roll,
I backed off when I pulled a 1/2 a car and saw 100mph
Heart still pounding but I love my life.

That’s awesome, drive them like they’re suppose to be! :steering:

Backed the Coronet out of the shop in order to install a new garage door seal on the roll-up...then pushed the Coronet back into the shop...the battery went dead and my jump box did, too.

On our way to our Daughter's house...
beecruiseandlunchapril152023 009.jpg

Hell, lets get lunch. Fesserton Ontario.

Honest, they're both hers!

Arrived home and a splash of fuel went across the floor as Therapy pulled in. Wasn't planned, but it forced a bay swap to get her on the 4 post hoist to see what was going on.

Turned out is was nothing but the shock crossmember tank vent pissing out some fuel when I bounced the car in the door with almost a full tank! But, I had to start the Satellite so she gets the nod tomorrow.

Show at local 50s diner.

Almost 100 cars packed into the allocated parking.

Met a new friend and really love his 69 Coronet. The 66 barracuda won best of show.

I know it cold and nasty in most parts of the country, but many that live in warmer parts are blessed to be able to get out for a joy ride. It's been nice here in Missouri a few days here and there. What is the definition of a nice day, dry, clean and free of salt dust. I know I'm retired, but I get out every chance I get during the day warm or cold if only to run to the store. This was Sunday Shopping on old main street in St Charles Mo.View attachment 692732

Got the thumbs up from a woman in a huge red hat driving an early/mid 60's ford convertible.

That trunk holds a LOT of half price cat food!
