Does anyone produce a pinion mount E brake for Mopars? (I have an 8 3/4). It doesn't look practical, but someone may have come up with a design that would work. H
You will probably need some passive hydraulic assists, as the lifting requirements will be heavy. I will be doing it on my 37 Ford. There are some examples on the net. (You will need some welding done). I like to go to car runs/shows to see what others have done.
Good luck. H
Great looking Challenger. If I worked on two cars at once, I wouldn't get either of them done. I have a 37 Ford project I had to store off site, so I would get MY Satellite done.
Paint is from TCP Global Kustom Shop. It is out of there psb series. It is labeled "sublime" Psb 8610. The color attracts a lot of attention. I did not realize the flavor of the color when I ordered the paint. Turned out to be quite a surprise.
Looks like a great project. I would do a complete tear down. "Be sure to package and catalog your parts, ( I didn't do that on mine). There's usually rust lurking on these Mopars. Get your drive train rounded up and so you can resolve any install issues. You can mix body work in with that...
Been a bit since I've posted, but will enclose updated photos on my 71. I'm running a built 360 with stock drive train, (hope it holds). It was a base 318 car out of the factory. We've been at it about 3 years. It's about 98% complete. Plan on switching to an Imperial steering column, and adding...
I think I've seen a 71 0r 72 in my local area with the same color. The graphics on the car were large hash marks horizontally across the rear fenders. The car was going in a different direction, so I did not get a good look. (what a beauty). Hope to see your sublime car at a car run??? Mine may...
I'll stop by my neighbors house tomorrow and get the color code and brand. When I ordered the paint, I thought I was getting the traditional Mopar color. It was a pleasant surprise after I saw the car painted. I've got all positive comments from everyone that looked at it.
Really like the seats. I have to choose between originals or a set of Cordoba seats for my ride. It's a tough choice. Looking at yours, I may choose the ones from the Cordoba. Your color is pretty wild. HC
