Thank you for verifying. That is what I was seeing in the majority of photos. Guessing the underside of the hood and inner fenderwells are the same as well since I see faded red paint in there. Russell
Ya need to place a WTB ad for the control head....thanks.Also while I'm on the subject, if anyone has ideas of where to get the clips, screws, etc for the trim to be re-installed that would be good.
Lastly, it's a Factory AC car and the blower control head in the dash needs replaced. If anyone knows where one is (for an A/C Car), would appreciate the info.
Not sure if this will help or make it worse...Good morning. Yesterday took my R/T to the bodyshop to have it prepped and painted. My Fender Tag shows it's a PP1 Bright Red exterior. With the changes in paint over the years, what is the closest paint available now that my painter can get to the original color? If you have a Mfg name and color number, that would be very helpful.

Thanks for the cross ref chart. Will see what we find that's close and let you know. Not sure if this will help or make it worse...
Color Codes - Ditzler PPG 71483 Cross-Reference
When your painter makes a determination, it would be helpful if you posted it here. My Coronet was the same color originally and I am leaning toward painting it that color again so any confirmation of a modern paint would help.

What do you mean by control head? If it is what I think it is, the newer ones work but wiring is a tad different. I have a newer one in my 67. They are cheaper and more readily available in my experience.Ya need to place a WTB ad for the control head....thanks.
Dallas is looking for a blower control head.....control lead? Blower switch? Never heard of a control head before today. What do you mean by control head?
