any one been in the old 1960's engine safety control? My friend wants his going. Everything checks good on the inside yet it doesn't limit. The only part I can't check is the contact box. All the diodes and transistors and resistors and caps read good. Anyone have a schematic. Any tech help appreciated

My brother had a Mallory rpm kill in the 70's. It had a dail gauge to set the rpm limit for the eng and then it would kill some ign on some cylinders so it would not go higher in rpm. It was a piece of crap. He set it at 6500 and the eng would not go over 3000 rpm and he was running high 13's. He was so worried about over reving it since it was a 4 speed. I took the piece of junk off and ran 12.20's right away. And this was his 67 Cuda 340 with some work done to it. Ron

Sounds just like the one my buddy has. Thanks for reply. I may and try to repair it for him but sounds like he would be better off using it for looks and having a modern rev limiter.
